Walking Club

Founded in November 2025, Saint MacNissi’s Walking Club meets every Thursday at the Parish Centre for a sociable walk around Randalstown. After stretching our legs, we gather back at the Parish Centre for a well-earned cup of tea, a few biscuits, and plenty of chat. It’s a relaxed, welcoming group—perfect for anyone who enjoys walking and good company.

A Typical Walk: To the Weir and Back

Setting off from the Parish Centre, we cross the bridge and follow the River Walk, taking in the calm surroundings as we stroll along to the Weir at Neilsbrook. After a short pause, we make our way back into the town, walking up New Street and over the viaduct before returning to the Parish Centre. The walk is just under two miles long and is approximately 3,500 steps, making it an enjoyable and manageable route for most walkers.

How to Join

Just turn up at the Parish Centre any Thursday at 10.30am!
